Morning: theory lectures & Afternoon: limited practical demonstrations

The big picture - what cars are for and what the automotive challenge is

Mass distribution and the inertia effect - the fundamental physics of a road vehicle

Human aspects - fundamentals of the driver as a vehicle control system

Under steer, over steer and other vehicle behaviour - how the dynamics of a vehicle can be modified and – how this influences the driver

Limit handling road, track and stage - what happens when a car is pushed too hard

 

Day includes: Light breakfast, buffet lunch & afternoon break. Refreshments available throughout the day.
