Contact: Peter Beddow (Regional Secretary), 07810 338679, E-mail

When: Tuesday 11th July 2017 – 6.30pm for 7.00pm start

Where: Best Western Reigate Manor Hotel, Reigate Hill, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 9PF

Lecture subject: ADAS progress or chaos?

Presented by: Andrew Marsh, AIC Ltd

ADAS covers multiple systems with multiple Tier 1 suppliers, which can appear on any given production model and be swapped for an improved system during the model life-cycle. Further, many Tier 1 suppliers are working on system life cycles of 3 years – rather less than the model build plus after market support life cycle. There is no standard way to re-commission ADAS systems. The presentation will look into how different OEMs approach ADAS recommissioning after repair, and the compound effect of fast moving technology capability within a vehicle life cycle. The bottom line means this is a great opportunity for IAEA members
